I’m Rashmi Kandel, the founder of Medicinal Mad Honey, a brand dedicated to sharing Nepal's rare Himalayan Mad Honey with the world. With over 8 years of experience, I work closely with 84 honey-hunting communities across Nepal to preserve their traditions and improve their livelihoods through fair trade.
Born and raised in Lamjung, I have always been around the the honey-hunting Gurung communities of Nepal. I’m passionate about raising awareness of climate change’s impact on Himalayan bees and their environment. I also founded Himalayan Treasures, a platform connecting Nepal’s local producers with ethical, eco-conscious consumers.
